LA–It’s well known that even though we are only a year into this new construction project, students and teachers alike are very displeased with the new conditions that they are forced to bear on a day to day basis. Whether it be the horrible smell of the open sewage lines, the constant noise of the equipment, or the constant fear of a construction worker coup in which the students would be all forced to wear those yellow helmets, all that has come with this project has had a negative effect, with the only upside being the new bulldozers that could be used to ward off potential intruders.
It’s no surprise that people would be questioning the reasoning behind the plan, and a one rumor has already found popularity: we are in a race with Cokewood High to reach the center of the earth.
Head of School Dr. Ryland addressed these rumors:
“Some schools compete in sports or academics, but private schools these days have gotten so competitive that we have to figure out new ways to distinguish ourselves from schools like Cokewood.”
Through all of this there’s one thing that’s clear: whoever hits the center of the earth first will surely receive a ton more funding, and isn’t that what private school’s all about?
